The engagement
Working with DM Studio's founder Adrian and Luke, Head Of Operations, Leo tackled a critical growth plateau. The agency was stuck at a six-figure revenue ceiling, 100% dependent on Adrian's content for inbound leads, positioned too playfully for enterprise clients, and lacked any systematic sales process, proposals were emailed without presentation calls.
Leo led a three-month strategic transformation across positioning, process, and go-to-market strategy. He helped to reposition the brand from "DesignMe" to "Tide" for premium enterprise appeal, launching a dual-market approach with an enterprise-focused main site and startup sub-page. The messaging shifted from aesthetic-focused to "design for performance," emphasising conversion metrics and business outcomes.
To break the inbound dependency, Leo developed a strategy targeting 50/50 inbound/outbound split, focusing on€200M-€1B corporate clients in financial services. He introduced the "AI Transformation" angle, positioning DM Studio as AI use case consultant to leverage board-level efficiency mandates.
Leo implemented the MEDDPIC sales framework with weekly pipeline reviews and restructured the sales process: discovery → presentation call → live Q&A → follow-up.
Close rates were at up to 50% (versus 20% industry average), the agency scaled beyond its previous ceiling while maintaining 59% margins. DM Studio now operates with systematic lead generation, premium positioning with a clearer path to ambitious growth targets.
